i think it's quiiite hard to totally understand anyone much less yourself 100% because there's always that image of the kind of person you think you are or would like to be that would influence who you think you really are but maybe subconciously you aren't quite that person. and people are constantly changing anyway and there're so many levels to a person's character that it's quite hard to define who you really truly are.

so i don't really think you need someone to completely understand you. (that would be quite freaky, actually)
i think all you need is someone who cares. :]
